Announcement:
- I will be gone on Sept 14th for Chinese dual language immersion professional development training.
- We focused on oral foundation & per-literacy past three weeks. We will use "Mandarin Matrix Story Garden" We-Read, and I-Read text books for our students in class.
- We will have a Chinese TEST every Friday (09/16). (一(one),二(two),三(three),四(four),五(five),六(six),七(seven),八(eight),九(nine),十(ten), 大 (big), 小(small). Extra points: 十 一(11),十二(12),十三(13)。

- I show a video clip to students. I told them that when teacher said line up every students need to wait until teacher count to 3 to do so. All students need to be quiet and push their chairs in while they are moving to the line. They are doing very well today. Students have learned that they need to wait for teacher's signal to act.
- Students always ask me when is time for lunch, recess, and go home. Today I show them pictures and clock on a chart. They are more clear for the whole day and half day schedule now. A student said: "Can we go home now?" in English. One student answer in Chinese "六回家 -six go home". Our students know that when the long hand is on the 6. It is the time to go home.
