- Use 10 frame to practice addition & subtraction math problems.
- Students can explain what are difference between 6+4=10 and 4+6=10. But they still kind of confused about 10=4+6.

- Lesson: 3-4 Finding Missing Parts of 10.
- We completed textbook's worksheet 3-4 today. According to students feedback topic three "five and ten relationships" is very easy.
- Finding missing parts of 10. Two students work together. A student hold ten rocks in his/her hand and then show some rocks on the desk. The student will ask how many in my hand.
Wednesday (10/12):
- Finding a Good friend. (0&10, 1&9, 2&8, 3&7, 4&6, 5&5, 6&4, 7&3, 8&2, 9&1, and 10&0)
Thursday (10/13):
- Lesson: 3-5 Problem Solving: Make a Table.
- We completed math worksheet 3-5 today. Students will have a topic test in Mrs. Anderson's class next week.
- Finding a Good friend. Students write 0&10, 1&9, 2&8, 3&7, 4&6, 5&5, 6&4, 7&3, 8&2, 9&1, and 10&0 on their small whiteboard.
Friday (10/14):
- Lesson: 4-1 Adding with 0, 1, 2.
- We completed math worksheet 4-1 on red class. (We had a Fire Prevention Assemblies today, so blue class did not do the math worksheet 4-1.)
- Good friends: 0&10, 1&9, 2&8, 3&7, 4&6, 5&5, 6&4, 7&3, 8&2, 9&1, and 10&0 are best friends.

Monday (10/10) :
- We will still focus on pumpkins this week.
- We will visit Pumpkin Patch across street on Thursday (10/27).
- Watched videos about pumpkins. Shows students picture about deep fry pumpkin flowers and Chinese pumpkin dishes.
Tuesday (10/11):
- We planted pumpkins in blue class today. We will do it in red class tomorrow. Students will need to water and take care of them every day. We will have a pumpkin diary and students can observe the pumpkins' growing process.
Wednesday (10/12):
- We planted pumpkins in red class today. (See pictures below.)
